# /kick

**Command**

```
/kick
```

Typing the `/kick` command will return a message with a drop down list of all users in that channel like below:

![](/files/3dqoieM0Xv51sjPEiwnT)

Selecting a user from the list will immediately remove that user from the room however they will be able to re-enter.

**Required Permissions**

In the event that PartyBeast does not have the correct permissions to make the changes required to kick a user you will receive the following error message:

![](/files/ri00dNHBrMLgwUWS345I)

In this case you should check that the PartyBeast **role** has the following permissions available on the **category** where new channels are created.\
Be aware that this should apply to any roles which you have assigned PartyBeast:

* View Channel
* Manage Channel
* Manage Permissions
* Connect
* Manage Members
